And away...we...go!!!

Welcome to the world of Gods and Monsters...and the Demigods stuck between them: The Lightning Thief!

The week of 3/3 will be a big one for us, as we prepare for this exciting project:

3/5 and 3/6 - General Auditions: Vocals...Please sign up for an audition slot on the Callboard and prepare up to 3 minutes of a song with recorded accompaniment (karaoke tracks are fine!).  You'll audition with a group by performing your prepared piece, and then by performing a piece I'll give you from the show, after a 90 minute prep period.  Further details are in the audition pac.ket...make sure to download and read the packet, and bring your paperwork to your audition.  **Note: No one will be barred from auditioning if they don't have recorded music, or barely have a song...read the packet for details!

3/7 - Callbacks...Those called back will be invited on Thursday to work through some additional voice work as well as scene readings to help focus on particular characters.

3/8 - General Auditions: Movement...Yes, this is correct - You have a second General audition after the acting Callbacks.  All actors, whether called back or no, will be expected to be here.  Not all roles might sing, nor maybe speak, but they will all be a part of the visual tapestry of The Lightning Thief.

3/8 - All Crew Applications are due on 3/8.  Please click the link to the right in order to apply...and yes, you can (and should!) fill out an application even if you're auditioning, if you want to work on the show one way or the other.

3/9 - Cast/Crew list goes up here on the blog by 900pm.

Y'all know the drill: Read the play, listen to the music (available on youtube and the music streaming services), prepare your song, and get ready to have fun!!!

Any other questions, y'all know where to find me.
