This week is going to be primarily music focused in a lot of ways, so be prepared for a lot of singing.

Schedule Revision: 3/20 and 3/21 (rev. 510p)

Hi there, friends!

Thanks so much for the hard work you're putting in so far!  I know it's been challenging as we've really hit the ground running with our music and staging, despite the late arrival of our music, and your creative team really learning what we are bringing to you with not much time to spare.

In light of that, we are nowhere near ready to do a complete sing-through of the show...not because anything went wrong, but simply because the circumstances of the show haven't allowed us to run through the music enough to make it worthwhile.

Song List - By Character

This link connects you to the Song List that Chrisse prepared outlining which person is in which song.  The only thing we haven't determined is who makes up the different choral groups (Students, Half Bloods, Campers, The Dead, etc.), nor the short sub-solos (the rockers, Thalia, etc.)  As we determine those, they'll be in the same chart.  Look up your pieces and maybe listen to them/listen to the backing tracks.  We'll touch on them next week!

Since I can't post this online, you'll need to come and get yours from me in the Theatre Lab ASAP.  Worst case scenario, you'll get them at the large group music rehearsals next week, but I'd love you to work with them before...so stop by when you can!

Cast/Crew List - The Lightning Thief

In ways I can’t begin to describe, thank you!  This has been an amazing experience. Humbling to be sure…and you have my most heartfelt thanks for making this an amazing week.

Actors:  

You’ve done such an amazing job this week with your heart and fun, your good nature and energy, that you’ve made this beyond challenging.  As with my last directing experience, I will tell you that many decisions were made for me: both good (some truly role-winning choices) and technical (musicality and combat potential made some decisions for me).  In the end, though, most roles had multiple people in contention until the bitter end, and y’all should be beyond proud of yourselves!!!

All Actors, Crew (of all types), and Stage Mgmt/ASMs listed below should be ready to attend the MANDATORY rehearsal Monday, and should begin reading through the perusal script to get a handle on the show…dive in directly.

Callbacks - March 7

Hey there, y'all - It's that time...the Callback List!

Remember, everyone who auditioned is asked to come back on Friday from 400p-700p for Generals/Movement with our amazing choreographer, Jacquelle...can't wait to see your work on the floor!

Callbacks will go in two sections:

1) 400p-500p: There are a few folks I need to hear a bit more from musically, and I'd like them here during this first hour to do a little more exploration.  These folks may be asked to stay for the remaining time, until 700pm, but may be released at 500p.
